Simple 3D SkyLab

Render to Texture Lighting

Skylab was a United States space station launched and operated by NASA, and occupied for about 24 weeks between May 1973 and February 1974. Skylab included a workshop, a solar observatory, and other systems necessary for crew survival and scientific experiments.

Skylab baked texture lighting displays here. The highlighted Skylab applies a simple texture map with GLSL shader lighting. Learn 3D programming techniques with the 3D Skylab Implementation tutorial.

NASA prepared the original Skylab model, which Seven Thunder Software simplified for Web rendering.

3D Models

If a picture's worth a thousand words, then a 3D model's worth ten thousand words! Consider 3D interactive content for learning, media, and marketing. Seven Thunder Software develops 3D models for Web design, with optimized (fast loading) 3D rendering software, from photographs, blue prints, ideas, and real objects.
