Convert from DAE Format to WebGL Interleaved Arrays

Download a simple JavaScript converter which translates indices, vertices, texture coordinates, and normals from a Collada DAE file. The translated data displays as a set of arrays useful with WebGL.

This DAE translator was implemented with JavaScript and slows down with large amounts of data to process. Dee examples prepared with the 3D DAE Translator for Windows.

The following form is used to input a file name and mesh name for the translator.

<form id="formPost">

DAE File Name:<br />
<input
class="ex"
id="fn"
type="text"
value="assets/st.DAE"/>

Mesh Name:<br />
<input
class="ex"
id="mn"
type="text"
value="Plane01"/>

<br />Scale:<br />
<input
class="ex"
id="scale"
value="1.0">

<br />Normals<br />
<input
class="fl"
type="checkbox"
id="normal"  />

<br />Binormals<br />
<input
class="fl"
type="checkbox"
id="binormal"  />

<br />Tangents<br />
<input
