Information About the Graphics
3ds Max was used to prepare all the 3D models displayed on this Web page. Some examples were rendered with 3ds Max, other examples were rendered with WebGL.
Eclipse of the Moon
The sun in the lunar eclipse displays with fire and volume light effects. The moon map color animates from grays to reds. See the lunar eclipse animation.
The scroll was modeled after photographs of scrolls from ancient Jewish Synagogues.
The Jewish Scriptures were written on scrolls rather than books.
Printing in books with a press, such as the Gutenberg press,
didn't become common until somewhere between 1480 and 1500.
The book of Revelation was written around the late first century AD.
book, of Revelation chapter 5, was a scroll.
Seals were often placed on the inside of the scroll. Break an internal seal to unroll a section of the scroll. Break the next seal to unroll and read the next section of the scroll. The seven seals on the scroll of Revelation represent sequentially revealing God's end time events from His book.
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals (Revelation 5:1).
The grenade launcher was modeled with 3ds Max from photographs. The volume light effect with noise, and fire effect create fire and smoke. See the interactive grenade launcher. Swipe to rotate and tap to fire a grenade.
3D Spy Camera
Concept gold waterproof spy camera. Modeled and rendered with 3ds Max. Reflective material applied to the camera body. Translucent lens. Sleek, smooth edges. Button edges filled with rubber.
