A dark realistic goal guided image creation. For example Aunt Lily's messy living room, kitchen, and the lab scene's spilled liquid, look a little scary. Moss grew from bricks in dungeon scenes. In general, everything appeared scuffed and dirty.
2D illustration preparation included an eye for light direction, composition, and consistency between scenes. Some scene creation focused on horizontal tracking such as Aunt Lily's Living Room. The San Zuchini Harbor animation was composed from two separate scenes. Also see Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Animated & Interactive scenes.
