Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Background Art

View background art broadcast for, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, the animated cartoon, through Fox Children's Network. Illustration was painted with Vista Tips 24 bit software, similar to Photoshop.

Background graphics are part of the portfolio of Amy (Washburn) Butler, owner of Seven Thunder Software, listed in imdb.com as Amy Washburn.

A dark realistic goal guided image creation. For example Aunt Lily's messy living room, kitchen, and the lab scene's spilled liquid, look a little scary. Moss grew from bricks in the dungeon. In general, everything appeared scuffed and dirty.

2D illustration preparation included an eye for light direction, composition, and consistency between scenes. Some scenes were prepared for horizontal tracking, such as Aunt Lily's Living Room. Left and right images for the room were painted separately, then combined for animation. The San Zuchini Harbor animation was composed from two separate scenes.
